We're looking for you if ...

... you share our core values of kindness, transparency, honesty, fairness, reliability and respect towards the world we live in and the people we share it with.

... you are comfortable with working on deadlines and managing the various projects you work on, the communication with your team and your time well and independently.

... you love communicating and are able to understand and converse with the wide range of people you'll be working with, ranging from beginner knitters to seasoned yarn shop owners and logistic partners.

... you are familiar and comfortable with using Google Drive & Asana. Bonus points for Convertkit.

... you are completely fluent in both writing and talking in English and German, ideally native speaker in at least one of these languages.

Your tasks within Making Stories are ...

... managing our communications with:

  • Stockists
  • Our fulfilment center
  • Customers

... filtering and forwarding emails to the respective responsible team members.

Please note that we're growing fast and our own tasks and needs change rapidly. It is most important to us that you're curious, open-minded, flexible and able to and interested in taking on new work as needed - both with regards to your tasks as well as your capacity.

We offer ...

... working with a small fabulous team that is dedicated to and passionate about changing this world we live in.

... flexibility in terms of where you work.

... unparalleled insights into the creation and growth of an independent knitwear publishing company.

... fair compensation on a freelance basis for a minimum of 5 - 10 hours per week (i.e. you need to be able to invoice us) with regular availability on every work day of the week (Monday through Friday).
